We are looking for an experienced System Architect to join our team and lead the design and evolution of enterprise-wide application architecture within a complex, multi-layered IT environment. This role involves defining architectural guidelines, ensuring the alignment of IT strategy with business objectives, and fostering the adoption of best practices across development teams. You will be working closely with solution architects, system integrators, project managers, and domain experts to define, implement, and monitor architecture principles and standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve enterprise-wide application architecture strategy, principles, and standards.
- Assess, design, and coordinate enterprise architecture across a large portfolio of IT projects and systems.
- Provide architectural leadership for cross-functional technical teams.
- Establish and maintain architecture governance processes and documentation.
- Ensure the alignment of the application architecture with organizational goals and technological advancements.
- Identify architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support project teams by advising on architectural decisions and ensuring compliance with architectural guidelines.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT, including at least 4 years in system/application architecture roles.
- Proven track record in designing complex IT systems and integrating legacy and modern technologies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.
- Solid experience in the design and implementation of large-scale software solutions.
- Experience in service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Knowledge of UML, BPMN, and architecture modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- An equivalent internationally recognized certification (subject to approval by the Contracting Authority).
