KUBRA is in growth mode and seeking a talented Senior System Administrator to join our DevOps team!
The Senior System Administrator is responsible for supporting KUBRA’s Category 1 PCI production and pre-production environments contributing to KUBRA’s 100% uptime targets. The Senior System Administrator will also participate in planning and maintenance activities to support business as well as a participation in KUBRA’s rotating on call schedule.
This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our office in Coppell, Texas.
What you get to do every day
Provide exceptional support for complex, multi-tenant and proprietary solutions.
Monitor/maintain/administer/support Dev, Test, Pre-Production, Production Servers (physical, virtual, and cloud) and network infrastructure.
Participate in on-call rotation to respond, investigate, resolve or escalate afterhours production issues within SLA.
Continuously analyze, recommend, plan, and implement changes within AWS and Azure to improve our costs, supportability, resiliency, availability, and performance of our platform.
Improve automation using configuration management and IaC tools such as Puppet and Terraform
Support Active Directory, DNS, SMTP, and IIS
Contribute to DR/BCP planning and testing of production services.

What skills do you need?
Computer Science or Computer Information Systems Degree or equivalent experience
Other Education/Certification/Training required: AWS Associate Certification or above, Microsoft Certification, and Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc.)
7+ years of experience with Windows Clients/Servers (Permissions, SMB/CIFS, DFS) experience
7+ years of experience with Advanced Active Directory (GPO, OU, Security Groups, Secure LDAP binding, Replication and related troubleshooting, FSMO role management etc.)
7+ years of experience with a variety of network protocols (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SFTP, WMI, SNMP etc.)
7+ years of experience of virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper V)
7+ years of experience of Cloud experience (AWS, Azure)
4+ years of IaC experience (Terraform preferred) 4+ years
4+ years of CMS experience (Puppet preferred)
Minimum 10+ years of experience at an expert level in system and network administration in a 24x7 multi-tenant, complex application development shop + NOC production environment is a must
An advanced knowledge and experience of IT operations including: Physical and Virtual Server Clusters, SAN/NAS Storage, IP Networks (router, switches & load balancers), Datacenter Infrastructures
