As a Senior Supply Chain Consultant, you will partner with clients to assess their end-to-end planning capabilities and lead them through transformation across Planning, Operations, Master Data, Inventory, and Supply Chain Systems. Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Assessment & Diagnostics

  • Analyze clients’ current supply chain processes, inventory policies, and system landscapes across industries such as life sciences, food & beverage, and manufacturing.

  • Identify root causes, data quality issues, process gaps, and improvement opportunities using structured frameworks and data-driven insights.

Future-State Process & Solution Design

  • Co-create improved demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management processes.

  • Develop future-state operating models, decision frameworks, and process documentation grounded in best practices.

Client Engagement & Facilitation

  • Lead or support workshops, discovery sessions, and design meetings, ensuring discussions are productive and aligned.

  • Communicate complex concepts clearly and credibly to planners, managers, and senior stakeholders.

  • Manage expectations with maturity and guide clients through ambiguous or evolving situations.

Road mapping & Transformation Planning

  • Translate assessments into actionable recommendations and detailed transformation roadmaps.

  • Define priorities, dependencies, and value drivers across process, data, and system improvement initiatives.

Support Technology-Enabled Transformation

  • Provide functional expertise for system consolidation efforts or planning tool implementations.

  • Contribute to requirements definition, design reviews, testing support, and adoption planning.

Change Adoption & Capability Building

  • Assist clients in building sustainable planning capabilities through training materials, process documentation, and practical coaching.

  • Support communication and change management efforts that ensure long-term success.

Requirements

About you

You are a structured thinker, a strong communicator, and a collaborative problem solver. You can engage confidently with both operational planners and senior stakeholders, bringing clarity, insight, and credibility to every conversation. You’re energized by complex challenges and motivated by the opportunity to help clients transform their supply chains in meaningful ways.

Experience

  • 4–6+ years of experience in supply chain planning, supply chain transformation, or operations.

  • Preference for candidates with consulting experience or a blend of industry + consulting.

  • Experience with one or more areas such as:

    • Demand & supply planning transformation

    • S&OP/IBP process improvement

    • Inventory optimization or segmentation

    • Planning system consolidation or implementation support

  • Proven ability to analyze planning or operational data to identify issues and improvement opportunities.

  • Familiarity with ERP and advanced planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis, OMP, SAP IBP, SAP S/4 or ECC, Anaplan) is a nice-to-have.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics, or Data Science.

  • Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of core supply chain planning processes and KPIs.

  • Advanced analytical ability—comfortable working with planning data, identifying trends, and diagnosing root causes.

  • Excellent communication skills: able to present complex information clearly and adjust messages for different audiences.

  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to guide discussions and navigate competing viewpoints.

  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguous situations and develop clear frameworks or recommendations.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn quickly.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
