Your Career Opportunity 

In this exciting new career opportunity, you’ll be reporting to the Head of Sales, Italy on full-time hours and working from home remotely. 

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager, you’ll have a direct impact on driving revenue growth and expanding our client base in the B2B market. The primary focus is on achieving sales objectives, identifying new opportunities within the client portfolio, strategically growing client accounts, and ensuring client renewals and loyalty.

 Objectives 

  • Revenue Growth: Drive sales and contribute to the company's financial success by exceeding revenue targets and increasing client spend.  
  • Account Expansion: Strategically expand existing client accounts by identifying and capitalizing on upselling and cross-selling opportunities. 
  • Client Retention and Loyalty: Develop strategies to ensure client contract renewals, promote repetitive business, and foster long-term client loyalty. Aim for efficient and timely renewal processes to enhance overall client satisfaction and maximize retention rates.  

You will:

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by expanding revenue across assigned strategic accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and new solution adoption.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and convert new stakeholders, business units, subsidiaries, and geographies within existing clients to unlock net-new revenue opportunities.
  • Build and execute robust account strategies that map decision-makers, buying centres, and growth potential, ensuring systematic account penetration and long-term revenue expansion.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and lead complex commercial negotiations, securing expansions, renewals, and multi-year agreements while addressing client objections and risks.
  • Maintain an accurate and robust CRM pipeline, deliver reliable revenue forecasts, and leverage market and competitive insights to inform sales strategy and leadership decisions.
  • Partner closely with Client Success, Marketing, and internal teams to ensure successful program adoption, identify expansion signals, and create a seamless post-sale growth engine.

 

What You'll Offer 

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in sales, account management, or a similar commercial role, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through existing accounts. 
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets through account expansion, complex deal negotiation, and closing within existing client portfolios. 
  • Strong ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers, navigate complex organizations, and develop actionable account plans that drive growth. 
  • Highly effective communication skills with the ability to articulate compelling value propositions, influence stakeholders, and lead high-impact commercial conversations. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Italian and English is required for client-facing interactions.
