The role:

Galileo is seeking a Senior Staff Sales Engineer (Co-Brand) to serve as a client-facing resource and assist in both pre- and post-sales technical implementations. You’ll serve as liaison between the sales team, internal departments, and our clients to help them get the most value out of the Galileo platform.

What you’ll do: 

Learn the technical ins and outs of our payments platform (with a focus on our Risk Solutions)  and become an expert on Galileo’s set of APIs, tools, and services.

  • Deliver polished, in-depth live demonstrations of Galileo’s Risk Solutions to banks and financial institutions, confidently answering complex technical questions and clearly positioning Galileo as the best-in-class platform.

Assist the sales team in communicating Galileo’s technical features with prospective clients.Work closely with engineers, product managers, and technical leaders evaluating Galileo to understand their needs.

  • Vet third-party providers to assess their products and capabilities, and facilitate contracts when necessary to deliver services beyond Galileo's core offerings.
  • Document third-party providers' offerings and develop integration plans for execution by our engineering teams. 

Help clients architect and build their payment platforms to get the most out of their integration.Work with Project Managers as a technical SME over the course of project implementations and continue to help clients follow best-practices and resolve problems.Manage internal resources to execute project plans and interface with the client.Work closely with internal business and engineering teams to build innovative solutions to address constantly evolving client needs.

What you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Understanding of modem payment platforms.

Understanding of system architecture, database structures and web technologies (RESTful APIs).

  • Experience working for a modern issuer processor.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complicated business and system processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to take initiative in an autonomous work environment and adapt to ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.
  • Client-facing experience required.
  • Organization and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

$158,400$242,000 USD
