Our journey
Founded in 2017 by Alexandre and Steve, Qonto has grown to 1,600+ Qontoers serving over 600,000 customers across 8 European countries: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, and the Netherlands. We have been profitable since 2023, and we are just getting started as we want to become the indisputable European leader in SME finance management.

👩💻🧑💻 As a Frontend Engineer, you will
• Craft new features for our customers within a Cross-Functional Team
• Participate in a unique project to migrate 1.1 million lines of code from Ember to React.
• Make a difference by suggesting and spearheading improvements
• Be a key player in teamwork with Product, Design, and other Tech stacks
• Work AI-first: use AI as a default part of how you explore the codebase, draft technical designs, prototype solutions, and accelerate delivery, while keeping strong human judgment and quality standards

• In order to accelerate our migration process, you will use AI-powered tools like Claude Code to drive our MCP workflows.
🏅About You
To succeed as a Frontend Engineer at Qonto, you will need to demonstrate:
1. Proficiency in frontend engineering: you have at least three years of professional experience using React.JS or Ember.JS, as well as HTML and CSS. We don’t use CSS libraries such as Tailwind, so you will need to know how to react pure CSS.
2. Attention to detail: you strive for excellence in every aspect of your job. You don’t gloss over minor issues and you understand that great work is the accumulation of many small things done right.
3. Communication skills: you explain your thoughts in a clear, organized, concise and accurate manner.
4. AI fluency & good judgment: you can leverage AI to move faster (research, writing, coding, testing) while staying critical, validating outputs, and protecting the product’s reliability and user trust

- Interviews with your Talent Acquisition Manager and future managers (1 hour each)
