Team Overview
The Fulfillment Technologies team manages end-to-end processes within fulfillment centers, building systems to improve efficiency in receiving, shelving, inventory, picking, and shipping. The team aims to deliver fast and accurate services to customers by introducing cutting-edge logistics processes and automation. We focus on providing specialized, user-centric services and applying new technologies to build innovative processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Tech Lead within the Global Ops Tech organization across the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Act as a key participant in architecture reviews for new platforms, services, and solutions within Coupang.
  • Lead company-wide projects as a technical leader.
  • Be a trusted problem solver for technical challenges within Global Ops Tech and across Coupang.
  • Collaborate with project owners, stakeholders, and designers to improve or implement new applications.
  • Continuously pursue improvements in practices to meet industry-standard expectations for quality and timelines.
  • Share best practices and drive process improvements across agile teams, enhancing engineering productivity and advancing technical depth and breadth within the team.

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience working within engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
  • 10+ years of experience designing and developing complex financial systems.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and building scalable, high-performance platforms and data pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with big data stacks (e.g., Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, Flink, Hive, S3, Redshift) and NoSQL databases for large-scale data streaming and near real-time processing.
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework, with extensive experience in AWS environments.
  • Proven experience collaborating with multiple teams to define mission, vision, and roadmap.
  • Experience working closely with product and program management teams.

Document Return Policy

  • This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
