Senior SQL Developer

ProArch is in search of a highly skilled Senior SQL Developer to join our innovative team. As a Senior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance SQL queries and database systems. Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering seamless and efficient data solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries and database designs.
• Assist in database design, normalization, and data modeling activities.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
• Ensure data integrity and security while complying with industry standards.
• Stay updated with the latest SQL and database technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SQL development and database management.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, MySQL, or Oracle databases.
• Strong knowledge of writing complex SQL queries, procedures, and functions.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
• Familiarity with database design principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience with modern version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
