We are looking for a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Business Analyst / Data Analyst with strong expertise in the Payments domain, combined with essential knowledge of Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) or Fraud Prevention. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Architects, R&D, Product Managers, Engineering, and third‑party vendors—to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

How will you make an impact?

You will work across multiple internal and external teams to drive clarity, alignment, and precision in product development and implementation.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Architects, R&D, Product Managers, and external vendors to understand high‑level design, cross‑interface impacts, architectural aspects, and non-functional requirements.
  • Defining detailed functional product requirements, including source‑to‑target mapping, transformation rules, business logic, and data integration requirements.
  • Defining non-functional product requirements such as performance, serviceability, and scalability.
  • Interfacing with customers to understand their data needs and actively participating in product implementation in customer environments.
  • Facilitating mutual understanding between multiple product and engineering teams through clear and structured communication.
  • Prioritizing and scoping user stories in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Defining precise acceptance criteria and identifying functional test considerations for all user stories.
  • Conducting internal product demos and supporting stakeholders during demo activities.
  • Providing ongoing support to Customer Support, Product, and Technical Presales teams by addressing product-related queries and issues.
  • Making recommendations around product features, functional design, and enhancements to support strategic objectives.

 

Have you got what it takes?

  • Strong exposure to the Payments domaina must
  • Knowledge of AML and/or Fraud Preventiona must
  • Experience writing Business Use Cases, Scenarios, and Functional Test Cases
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into business requirements
  • Ability to see the big picture while breaking it down into detailed needs
  • Fast learner with the ability to scale up on new technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, model, and communicate business requirements
  • Hands-on experience with source‑to‑target mapping, transformations, data management, and defining non-functional requirements
  • Good understanding of schemas, metadata, and standard banking interfaces
  • Familiarity with data integration, including data quality and validation
  • Experience creating product and functional specifications and presenting them to software teams
  • Strong SQL knowledge and excellent analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (English)
  • Team player with strong work ethic, creativity, assertiveness, and flexibility
  • Experience operating as a Business Analyst/Data Analyst in multiple engagements
  • Experience working in Agile environments, with user stories, prioritization, and acceptance criteria
  • Proficiency with MS Teams, JIRA, AHA, Excel, Access, and Visio
