We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sourcing Specialist to proactively support and drive procurement activities within Delta’s operations in EMEA. This role is vital in ensuring cost effective, compliant and strategic sourcing aligned with Delta’s Global Supply Chain strategy and regional business needs. The Sourcing Specialist will collaborate closely with engineering teams, product managers, suppliers and cross functional stakeholders to manage supplier relationships, optimize cost structures and support sourcing decisions across various spend categories.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials across EMEA region.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and Delta Corporate in Taiwan to align sourcing activities with global objectives.
  • Manage end to end procurement processes, including RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations and contracting.
  • Monitor supplier performance, manage KPIs and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Perform spend analysis and market intelligence with engineers or product manager to identify cost saving opportunities and supply risks.
  • Assist in onboarding and qualification of suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to support business continuity and innovation.
  • Ensure all vender application and procurement documentation are accurate, complete and stored according to audit and compliance standards.
  • Participate in cross functional projects and support internal stakeholders with sourcing needs.
  • Contribute to process improvements and digital transformation initiatives within sourcing function.
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement for electronics product within a multinational environment.
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, similar technical field or Supply Chain Management.
  • Work experience of 8+ years within Supply Chain Management.
  • Solid understanding of procurement best practices and category management principles.
  • Experience working with ERP and sourcing tools (e.g. CMR & SAP)
  • Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of another European languages or Chinese is a plus.
  • Detail oriented, collaborative and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Full-time position based in Delta Hoofddorp office in the Netherlands.
