Denova is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager on behalf of a client to define and design the organisation's long-term sourcing strategy. This role is not focused on running BAU sourcing events or operational procurement, but on setting up principles, governance, and roadmap that will guide sourcing decisions across the business.
The Senior Sourcing Manager will work closely with senior leaders to ensure sourcing approaches are aligned with business objectives, operating models, and future growth plans.
We are looking for people who can work mid-shift (15:00 - 00:00).
This role is open exclusively to candidates residing in the Philippines.
Key responsibilities:
Work closely with senior stakeholders to establish sourcing strategies, governance, planning, and decision frameworks.
Define and own the overall sourcing strategy for the organisation.
Develop the commercial and sourcing input, including how requirements are defined, how suppliers are evaluated, and how the overall TCO is assessed.
Design and continuously improve sourcing processes and ways of working, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
Define key metrics and performance frameworks to track sourcing effectiveness, while maintaining compliance with internal policies.
Provide strategic oversight on major sourcing activities, including tracking key milestones and supplier performance, to ensure successful outcomes based on the negotiated timeline.
Solid understanding of procurement processes, sourcing governance, and policy compliance.
Comfortable working in a contract-based role with defined timelines and expectations.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field – mandatory
6+ years of strong experience in strategic sourcing, commercial strategy, and procurement transformation - mandatory
Fluent in English (verbal and written) - mandatory
Proven experience setting up autonomous sourcing solutions and agent-based systems is a major plus.
Proven ability to develop and own sourcing strategies at an enterprise or large-scale organizational level.
Strong commercial acumen, with experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation strategy, and TCO.
Solid project management skills, including planning, managing risks, aligning with cross-functional teams, and clear regular progress reporting.
Strong innovation drive, project management, and solutions design
Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in procurement tools such as SAP S/4Hana / Coupa or similar
