ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Sr Solutions Architect, you will be an integral part of the Implementation team and the first point of contact with the client. You will have significant interaction with the Sales, Product and Merchant Onboarding teams while reporting to the Solutions Manager. The Solution Architect team is a trusted partner to the Sales team to help close deals and scope all integrations to ensure a successful and timely launch.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Provide presales product and technical support to the Go To Market team to help close new deals and upsells
Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain Trustly’s products and their benefits to customers, developers, and operational teams
Help validate the quality of new opportunities through review of the merchant’s technical aptitude and the development team’s engagement
Propose, scope, and define solutions for merchant integrations in order to achieve the merchant’s goals and to optimize Trustly revenue
Work closely with the Implementations team to kick off new merchant implementations and ensure all relevant solution designs are documented and complete
Partner with the Sales team to understand potential business opportunities with customers and prospects, including researching and understanding prospects' strategic initiatives
Serve as a respected subject matter expert on the Trustly platform and provide guidance and education to various Trustly teams requiring insight on merchant integrations and general product functionality
Provide guidance to the Product team on new feature requirements and help to identify functionality gaps in the Trustly product suite
Assist the Sales team with answering RFP technical questions
Attend strategic in person client meetings and support the Go To Market team at industry conferences
Drive key internal projects that help Trustly achieve strategic goals, often including interfacing with Trustly leadership
Solicit and log client feedback and evaluate data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers
Define and build performance metrics and KPIs as meeting part of the global objectives of the Implementation team

WHO YOU ARE
8+ years relevant experience in a leading role, such as Technical/Solution/Sales Engineer or Architect
2+ years of experience in Fintech, Payment or Alternative Payment industry strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent preferred
Experience working with web and mobile technologies including Web Services, APIs, REST, HTML/HTTP, iOS, Android, JavaScript and leading web and mobile application frameworks
Experience with large scale enterprise level systems, and security
