Senior Solutions Architect, Post Sales (West Coast)

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced customer-facing Solutions Architect who loves helping people, solving problems, and wants to be a major factor in the success of our largest enterprise customers. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, extensive customer-facing experience, and the ability to oversee multiple complex engagements.

As a Solutions Architect at Monte Carlo, you’ll serve as a strategic technical partner to our customers and internal teams. You’ll help define success, guide implementations in modern data environments, and ensure customers realize measurable value from the Monte Carlo platform. This role is based on the West Coast and works closely with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a strategic technical counterpart to the Customer Success team at Monte Carlo

  • Define project scope based on customer needs and requirements, guide clear outcomes, and communicate technical and value propositions

  • Deliver Monte Carlo implementations, including in complex data lake and cloud data warehouse environments

  • Define and evangelize best-practice approaches for achieving desired technical capabilities using Monte Carlo

  • Deliver training and technical enablement on advanced concepts to technical customer audiences

  • Create technical collateral, documentation, and other materials as needed

  • Advocate on behalf of customers cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales

  • Analyze customer trends and identify opportunities to drive increased product adoption and consumption

You’re a Fit If You Have

  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role, preferably within the data technology space

  • Strong technical foundation, including familiarity with cloud data warehousing, data lakes, ETL concepts and workflows, BI tools, SQL, and APIs

  • Experience discovering use cases, scoping solutions, and delivering complex technical engagements to multiple audiences

  • Experience working with enterprise customers and managing multiple stakeholders and priorities

  • A track record of being part of a high-performing team with ambitious goals

  • Experience identifying and improving internal and customer-facing processes

  • Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment, with comfort navigating ambiguity and taking ownership

  • Networking experience or exposure to complex enterprise infrastructure

  • Deep familiarity with modern data stacks and observability best practices
