Senior Software Engineer

TLDR

Contribute to the development and support of customer-facing systems using C#, .NET, and Angular in an agile environment.

This Senior Software Engineer role involves hands-on full-stack web development, with a strong emphasis on C#, .NET, and Angular.

You’ll work within a delivery squad alongside other experienced engineers and product partners, contributing to the development, enhancement, and support of customer-facing systems. We’re looking for a senior engineer who brings depth of experience, sound judgment, and a strong sense of ownership in day-to-day delivery.

The role 

  • Build, enhance, and maintain production-grade full-stack web applications using C#, .NET, and Angular, delivering work end-to-end
  • Apply strong engineering practices to ensure code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability, including reviews, testing, and defect fixes
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering and product peers, while owning assigned work and reliably delivering outcomes

Requirements

We’re looking for an experienced full-stack software engineer with strong technical foundations and a track record of delivering quality software.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong full-stack experience with C#/.NET (.NET Core) and Angular (TypeScript)
  • Proven experience building and supporting production web applications using both NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational databases (e.g., MSSQL)
  • A reliable, ownership-driven approach, with deep technical problem-solving skills and strong attention to code quality

Advantageous experience and exposure include:

  • Python
  • ML/AI-enabled systems
  • Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)

With a hybrid or remote focus, we’re primarily looking for candidates based in Cape Town, and we’re also open to applications from Johannesburg and Pretoria.

We are currently only considering applicants who already have the right to work in South Africa, without the need for employer sponsorship, for this position.
