ABOUT US:

The Sports Media unit is responsible for delivering high quality sports data for the largest media partners in the world. Uncovering valuable insights at scale, support the future of sports broadcasting, and ensure high data quality through constant monitoring and discrepancy detection.

 

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Design, build, test, and deploy cloud‑native services that power our Enterprise products – supporting billions of monthly requests and hundreds of millions of global end users.
  • Collaborate in an empowered cross‑functional product team alongside Engineering, Product, Design, and DevOps, where your input genuinely shapes what we build.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability, championing best practices and continuously improving our architecture.
  • Participate actively in Pull/Merge Request reviews, ensuring high code quality and shared ownership across the team.
  • Be a trusted contributor to a team culture built on collaboration, knowledge‑sharing, and engineering excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.

 

ABOUT YOU:
Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Back‑end Developer in a professional software environment.
  • Hand-on experience in Golang or PHP.
  • Preferable background in system design and architecture, focused on building scalable, maintainable, and reliable services.
  • Preferable experience with data‑driven design, including RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Hands‑on experience with SQL, NoSQL, and in‑memory data stores.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub and automation tooling).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Knowledge of cloudnative architectures, ideally on AWS (serverless or containerized).

Please note: Only candidates with cloud experience and hands‑on Golang or PHP expertise will be considered for this role.
