THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Clari + Salesloft, our Senior Software Engineer will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing team where in this role, you will lead the development and scaling of core platform components, ensuring the platform remains reliable, performant, and able to support millions of workflows daily.

On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to solve high-impact challenges and deliver platform capabilities that power enterprise-scale workflows.

Specifically, you will:

• Lead the design, development, and scaling of core data platform components that power ML, AI, analytics, and forecasting products processing millions of data workflows daily.
  
  
• Own the development and operation of critical platform services, including data ingestion, data pipelines, transformations, and observability tooling, improving system reliability and performance.
  
  
• Drive the investigation and resolution of complex technical and production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing durable solutions.
  
  
• Design reusable platform services, data integration capabilities, and developer tooling that enable teams to build and operate data-driven products efficiently.
  
  
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that shape the evolution of the data platform.
  
  
  
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising engineering standards through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and best practices.

THE TEAM:

Our  Clari + Salesloft Data Platform team is comprised of seasoned and up-and-coming software development professionals  who are all aligned on one vision and mission:

The Data Platform team consists of engineers who build and evolve the core platform that powers our products. The team focuses on enabling scalable data processing and providing the foundation that allows product teams to deliver intelligent insights to customers. Engineers on this team collaborate across engineering, product, and support to solve complex distributed systems challenges, helping ensure the platform scales efficiently with the company’s growth.

THE SKILL SET:

• 5+ years of experience building reliable, scalable production software in Java within microservice-based environments..
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and experience troubleshooting and operating production systems.
• Proven ability to improve system reliability, performance, and operational excellence, including incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Solid experience with relational (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), including data modeling and performance optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to use observability systems (metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring, alerting) and common Java testing frameworks.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across engineering, product, and support teams.
