Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

full-time Remote
We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our client team. You will play a key role in building and shipping core product features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping shape both our technology and engineering culture. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about writing clean, scalable code and enjoys mentoring others while working in a highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy core product features from design through production
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern frameworks
  • Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Mentor junior team members through pairing, guidance, and ongoing support
  • Assist in release planning, deployment, and post-release analysis
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver user-centric solutions
  • Engage in technical discussions and contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (React) and Python or comparable full-stack technologies
  • Experience working with Git-based workflows and asynchronous collaboration tools
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset
  • Ability to write tests and debug across the web stack

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building B2B or SaaS products
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies and test automation
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Docker)
  • Prior experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership
  • Prior experience working or studying in the United States, or with international work experience
