Senior Software Engineer (Remote - India)

The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in developing scalable, high-performance backend systems and data platforms that power critical business operations. You will work on distributed systems, implement ERP connectors, optimize data pipelines, and build backend APIs that support global operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies. You will have the opportunity to influence system architecture, ensure high availability and performance of data services, and contribute to innovative solutions that support business intelligence and analytics. Accountabilities

·         Design, implement, and maintain backend systems and APIs to support global data operations.

·         Develop and optimize ERP data connectors to ensure high availability and seamless integration.

·         Build and manage scalable data storage and pipeline solutions for structured and unstructured data.

·         Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

·         Maintain, upgrade, and govern existing services, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

·         Enforce best practices in data governance, security, and compliance across systems and teams.

·         Coordinate with distributed teams across multiple time zones to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5+ years of backend development experience.

·         Strong programming skills in Go or Python.

·         Familiarity with databases and open-source components such as MySQL, Redis, Message Queues, or NoSQL systems.

·         Experience with large-scale distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or GCP).

·         Knowledge of ERP systems and experience implementing ERP data integrations.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and abstraction capabilities to translate business logic into efficient technical solutions.

Preferred Skills:

·         Familiarity with ElasticSearch or Spark (for data feeds and analytics workloads).

·         Experience in developing large-scale infrastructure or data systems.

·         Ability to work effectively across global teams and flexible work hours.
