The Senior Software Engineer - ReactJS is key to the success of Entrata’s Development department. This position is primarily responsible for being a strong technical backbone of a team by leveraging a strong technical background, prioritizing business needs, problem-solving, and collaborating cross-functionally. A successful candidate must be the best and brightest, highly motivated, care about innovative and disruptive, a fast worker and a fierce competitor
Responsibilities will include
Help us design, build, and deploy JS applications
Be a part of Front-end Development Initiatives
You will be a bridge between UX and BackEnd Engineering to implement FE solutions
Deliver elegant, efficient and readable code on time
Measure application loading time and optimize apps to perform smoothly even on throttled networks, including offline networks
Inspire and mentor your colleagues
Learn something new every day
Minimum Qualifications
4-7 years of experience with JavaScript
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
In-depth understanding of SE best practices, JavaScript, JS Design Patterns, and new ES6
features.
Experience with JS MVC and JS TDD
Not dependent on libraries, but know when, where, and why to use them
Solid analytical skills and commitment towards quality
Excited about building ReactJS-based apps from scratch and have a passion to promote
JavaScript and frontend frameworks
Experience in HTML5 and CSS3
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong organizational and presentation abilities
Strong problem-solving capabilities
Solid understanding of modern developer tools
Thirst for knowledge
Built applications with modern JS ecosystem, using but not limited to front-end libraries (React), state management (redux), testing (Jest), CSS-in-JS (styled components), build tools (Webpack)
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience on the progressive web apps.
Understanding of FrontEnd Ops
Awareness of TypeScript.
