Senior Software Engineer (Python/Django/Vue)

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using Python to support payment workflows
• Build and maintain user-facing features using Vue and TailwindCSS
• Develop and optimize data models and queries using PostgreSQL
• Build, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams on payment-related features
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and improve system performance, reliability, and security
• Document best practices and maintain high code quality standards

 Some Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend development skills with Python
• Experience building web applications with Vue and TailwindCSS
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases
• Hands-on experience working in AWS cloud environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and collaborate in a remote team

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
