Senior Software Engineer – Platform

Our technology offers companies access to leading payment capabilities, allowing them to engage customers confidently and maintain global business operations with seamless payment integrations worldwide.     Shape your future with Yuno!   As a Senior Software Engineer – Platform / Infrastructure, you will join the team responsible for the core infrastructure that enables dozens (and soon hundreds) of microservices to run safely, reliably, and at scale.   This is not a traditional DevOps or infra-only role. This is a developer-first position, focused on building production-grade software that powers our internal platform, automation, and operational systems.   You will design, build, and own critical platform services that abstract infrastructure complexity away from product teams while ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across Yuno’s ecosystem.       🟣 What You’ll Do   Software Engineering (Core Focus) • Design, build, and maintain internal platform services and tools using Python and Node.js • Develop APIs, automation services, CLIs, background workers, and platform control components • Build tooling that abstracts infrastructure complexity away from product teams • Write clean, testable, production-grade code powering core platform systems   Platform & Infrastructure Engineering • Operate and evolve AWS and Kubernetes environments running critical workloads • Build and maintain GitOps workflows and deployment strategies (canary, blue/green, progressive delivery) • Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform • Contribute to deployment, provisioning, observability, reliability, and security automation systems   Ownership & Reliability • Own systems end-to-end, including design, implementation, deployment, and operation • Participate in production troubleshooting and incident analysis • Continuously improve platform reliability, performance, and developer experience • Help define platform standards, best practices, and engineering patterns     What This Role Is Not • Not a “click-ops” infrastructure role • Not a pure YAML or Terraform-only position • Not a role focused on maintaining existing systems • This role is about building, coding, automating, and owning critical platform components.       🟣 Skills you need   Minimum Qualifications • Senior experience as a Software Engineer • Strong experience with Python and Node.js • Solid understanding of APIs, async systems, and distributed systems • Experience with Linux and cloud environments (preferably AWS) • Ability to read and reason about infrastructure code • Strong debugging skills and production mindset   Strong Plus • GCP experience • Production experience with Kubernetes • Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code • Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps • Experience building internal platforms or developer tooling   Nice to Have • Experience with advanced deployment or traffic strategies • Observability tooling experience (logs, metrics, tracing)     About the Platform & Infrastructure Team   • Join a highly experienced Platform & Infrastructure team operating production systems at scale • Work in an environment with high standards for engineering quality, ownership, and autonomy • Strong emphasis on automation, reliability, and long-term maintainability • Engineers are trusted to design and drive solutions, not just execute tasks     🟣 What we offer at Yuno   • Competitive Compensation • Remote work - You can work from everywhere! • Home Office Bonus - We offer a one-time allowance to help you create your ideal home office. • Work equipment • Stock options • Health Plan wherever you are • Flexible Days off  • Language, Professional and Personal growth courses
