- Lead the design, development, and deployment of new features and major architectural improvements for the review management platform.
- Drive complex projects from conception to launch, ensuring high quality, performance, and scalability.
- Be the technical authority for the ORM product area, making critical decisions on system architecture and best practices.
- Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks to achieve the 5x scale goal.
- Continually modernize the existing architecture to improve maintainability, resilience, and efficiency.
- Work with technologies like Kotlin, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Kafka, k8s, S3, DynamoDB, and Aurora Postgres to build highly available and distributed systems, and with React to build modern Front End. We do not require you to know these technologies. We hire smart people who can learn new technologies fast.
- Coach and mentor other development engineers, helping them grow technically and professionally.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to define clear technical requirements and roadmaps.
- Work effectively with senior engineers across Qualtrics to align on technical strategy and shared infrastructure.
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong level of curiosity and interest to learn
- Strong algorithms, data structures and coding background
- Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience with professional software engineering practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documents)
- Annual Leave: 20 or 26 annual leave days per annum plus an additional day for each year of service (to a max of 5).
