Senior Software Engineer -Nolimit City

You will belong to a team who has its roots in Nolimit City (part of Evolution). Nolimit  has derived from hands on work at some of the most successful gambling software providers and operators over the last 15 years. This is a challenging and exciting role where you will be part of a team dedicated to creating solutions that redefine our industry. By working in small, highly collaborative teams, you and your team will have clear ownership of one of our most important new initiatives at Evolution. 

We have a clean code high performance modern mini/micro service portable system platform for mobile and desktop that is 100 % under our own control. Since we have our own platform, this allows us to deliver special features and smooth, customizable marketing campaigns that are tailored to the operator's specific needs. We think it's time for a new angle to the gambling software industry – one where the product is in focus and we fully engage their promotion, marketing and country manager system/activities with our games. 

We optimize for quality, fast flows, and iterative development with short feedback loops. We have a strong focus on end-to-end ownership, continuous improvement, monitoring, and experimentation. We strive to have teams that are inclusive, helpful, and have a strong sense of ownership for what they build. Our engineers make some of the most significant decisions for the company, and we are looking for open and curious developers. We are expanding several of our engineering teams, including the team working on new initiatives with innovative products for our end users and work on our core products.

What you'll do

• Own the product from start to finish. Decide how it is best built, tested, deployed, and monitored.
• Work with large-scale, highly available, and robust modern systems.
• Be an integral part of a team and its culture and ways of working.
• Work with automated deployment enabling release multiple times a day.
• Succeed, fail, and learn together with other competent and talented people. We believe in an environment that offers growth opportunities and see education as a result of failure that brings us closer to the next breakthrough.
• Take responsibility for system design, work together with domain architects, own end-to-end problems, manage stakeholder communication, and mentor junior engineers.

Who you are

• Tech stack should include: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, Java.
• Experience with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks
• Experience with APIs and product development
• A passion for writing clear and sustainable code
• Experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration, continuous delivery
• Good spoken and written English skills
• You thrive in an environment where you are responsible for your code and takes ownership of the change from editor to production system
