THE TEAM

A small (7 members) cross-functional team working primarily on backend, with occasional frontend, and a data platform enhancements using the shape-up methodology.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

You will empower people worldwide to invest fearlessly by building and delivering high-quality features and improvements to our SaaS product. The team is focused on two main business domains - Securities and Accounts.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primarily focused on backend development, with occasional frontend support.
• Independently own tasks from inception to completion.
• Work autonomously with a high level of technical expertise while collaborating effectively with other teams.
• Seamlessly adapt to modern codebases as well as legacy frameworks.
• Drive incremental improvements to existing systems.
• Deliver commitments with top quality and speed.
• Promote a culture of collaboration through clear and effective communication in person, public speaking, and writing.
• Integrate technical expertise with business understanding to create performant, reliable, and usable products.
• Design and optimize system performance.
• Proactively acquire domain knowledge to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Solve complex problems by balancing innovation with existing solutions and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks to delivery and quality early in the development process.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture (preferably AWS).
• Deep expertise in Golang and backend development.
• Experience decomposing monoliths into microservices.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and asynchronous architectures.
• Strong focus on testing with knowledge of modern testing frameworks.
• Proficiency or strong willingness to adopt AI tools for boosting efficiency and quality.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Polish.
• Team player fostering collaboration and a positive work environment.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with Kafka and GraphQL.
• Experience with PHP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

The expected monthly compensation range for this position is 22k PLN - 25k PLN.
