WHY BOX NEEDS YOU?
Box is transforming how enterprises collaborate and manage content in the cloud. While many Box services run on Java and Scala microservices, a large monolithic PHP codebase still implements core business logic. That codebase contains millions of lines, is contributed to by hundreds of engineers, and is deployed to production multiple times per day. It’s the largest-scale service in the company and is relied on by thousands of customers - we need a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to own, enhance, and maintain it.
Team mission: Empower innovation and scalability across Box’s ecosystem by developing modern language frameworks and building highly scalable, reliable infrastructure services.
