Senior Software Engineer - Mobile

Noise defines how the world discovers and acts on what matters by creating a way to measure and trade attention — something the internet produces endlessly but no one has been able to objectively track. We're a team of 10 based in SoHo, New York. Open to remote. We look for people with great taste who can ship code, design or convey user needs into delightful products.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build our React Native app from zero to launch

• Prototype and iterate rapidly with design to validate ideas

• Build fast, reusable components that scale across iOS and Android

• Craft motion and interaction systems: transitions, micro-interactions, tactile feedback

• Own performance, accessibility, and polish — every frame and gesture should feel native

• Collaborate across product, backend, and web to build cohesive end-to-end experiences

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mobile development

• Not a vibecoder

• Uses Claude Code, Cursor or other AI dev tools to empower, not replace

• Self motivated, willing to push your comfort zone in order to make something feel great

• Comfortable turning Figma designs into production-ready code with precision

• Strong attention to detail and ability to self-QA before handing off to the greater team

• Actionable taste for interaction details like motion, typography, and affordance

• Bonus: experience with our web stack (React, TypeScript, Tailwind)

Minimum full-time salary of $160,000-$210,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full Time employees at Noise Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including equity and benefits, dependent on the position type.
