What is the Mobile Engineer role?

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with at least 8 years of hands-on experience native Android development. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable, high-quality mobile solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust architectures.

What you'll be doing:

Architect and design end-to-end mobile solutions using native Android frameworks.
Lead and mentor development teams, providing technical guidance and best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to define requirements and deliverables.
Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and best practices for mobile development.
Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through code reviews and automated testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across platforms.
Oversee the integration of third-party APIs and services.
Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for mobile deployments.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in mobile technology.

What you'll bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
Expertise in building cross-platform mobile apps, optimizing performance, and managing state.
Strong proficiency in native Android development (Java/Kotlin): deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and platform guidelines.
Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and mobile app security best practices.
Proven experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
