Senior Software Engineer (m/f/x)

Skeleton's Advanced Engineering Department is looking for a driven and experienced

Senior Software Engineer (m/f/x) for the Grid products (cabinets, systems).

Your responsibility areas:

• Embedded software programming and testing of grid products. 
• Design SW platform and architecture development. 
• Work as a subject matter expert in customer projects. 
• Contribute to the company’s technology and product roadmap development. 
• Work with research projects. 
• Support and mentor junior team members. 
• Contribute SW development process and tool development. 

Requirements

• Proven experience in embedded software programming (C/C++ language), configuration, and testing, preferably in grid, energy, or industrial automation systems.
• Strong software architecture and platform design skills, with the ability to define scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Ability to act as a subject matter expert and provide technical leadership in customer-focused projects.
• Experience contributing to technology and product roadmap development, aligning engineering work with long-term business goals.
• Interest and experience in participating in applied research or innovation projects.
• Ability to support, guide, and mentor junior engineers to help them develop their technical capabilities.
• Familiarity with software development processes, methodologies, and lifecycle tools, and readiness to contribute to process improvement.
