As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own end-to-end development of new agent capabilities, from researching Linux and cloud security technologies to designing detection strategies and delivering them at scale. You’ll work across kernel-level components, user-space engines, and cloud-native security features, tackling complex system engineering challenges.

Your work will enhance the security of Linux and cloud workloads used by hundreds of thousands of users globally. We’re looking for engineers with Linux and/or cloud security experience who can innovate from scratch and drive scalable capabilities across our products.

What Will You Do?

  • Software Development (70-80% of time) - we use C++23, occasionally also Rust and/or Go
  • Write tests to cover new code
  • Conduct low-level research and design new features
  • Peer code reviews; Participate in the team’s design reviews
  • Learn new technologies in the Linux and Cloud workloads security domains (e.g. eBPF)
  • Architect end-to-end security solutions for complex features with loose problem definition
  • Support customers with issues and requests within the team’s domain
  • Attend daily and weekly scrum meetings

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

  • Multiple years of experience as a software engineer, developing complex systems in modern C++
  • Proficient in Linux OS architecture and internals
  • Hands-on experience with Linux low-level development and debugging
  • Previous experience working on a production-grade product with a wide-scale deployment

It’d be great if you have experience with / or you’d learn & gain on our team:

  • Hands-on experience with Linux kernel development or kernel tracing
  • Previous experience with eBPF, Linux networking subsystem, security-oriented development
  • Hands-on experience with container platforms and orchestrators such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Previous experience with software development in either Rust and/or Go (we have several components in both) or Python

Salary starting from 4500 EUR/month
Annual bonus based on company performance, paid in two installments
The final base salary may be adjusted based on the individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
