We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in our engineering operations in EU. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting and developing Lalamove's engineering initiatives.
What you'll do:
Provide end-to-end technical support for EU operations.
Collaborate closely with team leaders, engineering teams, local operations, product managers, and infrastructure teams.
Participate in building application functionalities while ensuring alignment with the engineering team at HQ.
Lead and resolve technical issues related to the EU data center and operations.
Technical Expertise Required (proficient in 1 or more of the following areas)
Cloud infrastructure support, database administration, and network operations.
Application and software development in Java.
Mobile app development for iOS and/or Android.
What We're Looking For:
Proven ability to work independently and effectively within a high-performing local team to deliver comprehensive technical support for EU operations.
Strong collaboration skills to align with local business operations and the HQ engineering roadmap.
A commitment to fostering a collaborative and self-organized team environment.
Close cooperation with team managers, local operations, and product management to anticipate operational support and capacity needs.
A drive for a culture of high quality and performance.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience as an software engineer / mobile app developer / infrastructure engineer / DBA.
Strong hands-on background in engineering and operational support.
Ability to collaborate with tech lead, local operations, and product management to ensure alignment of technical vision and smooth operational support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
