We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain the backbone of Kovalee: our publishing platform. You’ll work closely with operations to solve real business problems while helping us move fast and iterate boldly. You will report directly to the CTO and work alongside an another software engineer.
What you’ll work on:
Add new features to our unique internal tools, the keystone of Kovalee’s processes
Maintain and improve existing internal tools to keep them efficient and reliable
Collaborate with operations to understand pain points and design technical solutions
Innovate and experiment quickly in a fast-moving startup environment
Requirements:
STEM or Engineering degree preferred (not mandatory if experience is strong)
5+ years in software development, ideally in startups or scale-ups
Senior-level expertise with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and SQL
Flexible and comfortable iterating quickly in a fast-paced environment
Tailwind CSS experience is a plus
Bonus skills include Cursor, AI agents, and following AI and development trends
Strong communication skills in English
Based in Paris or willing to relocate, with valid work authorization (we are unable to sponsor visas at this time)
