One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Java in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, or Mexico.

This role offers the opportunity to develop and scale mission-critical software products used by IT professionals around the world. You’ll join a team of skilled engineers building high-performance, cloud-based applications that support millions of endpoints globally. Leveraging your deep knowledge of Java (and ideally Kotlin), you will design, build, and optimize robust backend systems. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Kotlin
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code that aligns with team and company standards
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to implement new features and enhance existing functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects across development and production environments
• Contribute to the overall system architecture, performance tuning, and scalability solutions
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers to promote a culture of quality
• Develop APIs and RESTful services following best practices and secure coding standards
• Ensure delivery of high-availability software that supports global infrastructure

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in Java software development
• Solid experience with Kotlin is highly desirable
• Proven track record working with large-scale systems and scalable infrastructure
• Strong understanding of OOP principles, API design, and REST service frameworks (e.g. Spring or Jersey)
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL, especially Postgres
• Experience with caching systems such as Redis
• Familiarity with asynchronous application design, client-server architecture, and secure coding practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in English is required
