Senior Software Engineer - Java

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) System Administrator with a strong background in X++ development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining the D365 F&O environment, ensuring optimal system performance, and developing solutions that support business processes and growth.

This mid- to senior-level role is ideal for professionals who combine technical depth in system administration with hands-on experience in D365 development, particularly in X++.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain the Dynamics 365 F&O environment, including system updates, patches, and configurations.
• Develop and customize solutions using X++ to meet functional and business requirements.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Implement security roles, user permissions, and manage system access controls.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and data integrity across environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Support integration of third-party applications and data exchange with D365 F&O.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Stay up to date on Microsoft updates and best practices for D365 F&O and X++ development.

Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations administration and development.
• Strong proficiency in X++ and related development tools.
• Experience in managing environments using LCS (Lifecycle Services) and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with system upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Solid understanding of business processes in finance and operations.
• Experience with security setup and role-based access in D365.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 F&O are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Power Platform, Dataverse, or Power Automate.
• Experience with data migration, SSRS reports, or Data Entities.
• Background in ERP implementations or large-scale customizations.
• Agile/Scrum environment experience.
