Senior Software Engineer - Integrations (Node.js / TypeScript)

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves collaborating with Engineering and Product teams.

Requirements

The Necessities:

* TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS

* SQL-based databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)

* GraphQL

* Unit testing experience and knowledge of TDD

* Experience implementing service-oriented systems

* Expertise with Git

* Knowledge of AWS services

* Understanding of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban)

The Extras (Desirable):

* Experience using the React framework, HTML, and CSS

* Understanding of SRE best practices (post-mortems, logging, alerting)

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)

* Knowledge of financial systems

* Computer Science (CS) Degree

Responsibilities:

Work with Engineering and Product teams to integrate Vestwell’s systems with third-party data and services.

Collaborate on the architecture and design for SaaS integrations.

Orchestrate data transfers and synchronization across multiple internal and external systems.

Monitor and provide support for third-party system integrations.
