Senior Software Engineer in Test

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to take ownership of test automation frameworks and drive quality across our products and CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you’ll design robust test suites, mentor junior team members, and drive testing initiatives that span functional, performance, and non-functional areas. You’ll be instrumental in shaping how we scale testing, collaborating with developers and product managers to embed quality at every stage of the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain advanced test frameworks that support functional, non-functional, and performance testing.
• Create and manage comprehensive automated test suites across CI/CD pipelines, ensuring stable builds.
• Own team’s testing and quality processes, contributing to technical decisions from a quality perspective.
• Mentor intern, junior, and mid-level engineers, guiding them in best testing practices and strategies.
• Encourage and drive the integration of testing strategies across multiple teams and initiatives.
• Influence the testing & quality aspect within the team.
• Drive the design and implementation of scalable testing solutions running against AWS environments, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD workflows.

Requirements

• Advanced expertise in building scalable test automation frameworks (using Python, JavaScript, Java, C#).

• Strong experience with data-driven testing and test data management.
• Full ownership of test suite integration in CI/CD pipelines and test strategy execution.
• Ability to drive quality metrics into the development lifecycle.
• Encourage Agile testing efforts, embedding testing throughout the development lifecycle and driving improvements across teams.
• Product-focused mindset, collaborating with Product and Engineering Managers to influence the creation of testable features, ensuring testability is prioritized in the design and development phases.
