Senior Software Engineer II (PeopleSoft)

WHO YOU ARE:
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer II with strong development and architectural expertise in the PeopleSoft ecosystem to help drive meaningful automation and process improvements across our Business Operations Finance environment. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Zinnia’s PeopleSoft SMEs to design and deliver scalable solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in the PeopleSoft GL and AP modules, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with global team members. You’ll also work alongside cross-functional teams and Zinnia Infrastructure to support complex integrations with AWS, Slack, Datadog, Zinnia Live, and other key systems of record.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work as part of a global, cross-functional team to develop innovative software for Zinnia’s stakeholders.
• Contribute to projects by creating well-designed, customized, testable, and efficient code for Zinnia's platforms.
• Assist our teams in providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, improvements, or custom enhancements to existing Zinnia's platforms.
• Flexibility to support the challenging development and delivery needs of Zinnia
• Collaborate with our global teams, internal stakeholders, and customers.
• Act as a mentor and technology expert for team members and conduct technical reviews.
• Architect, Design, develop and validate various requirements for the Zinnia platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, recognize and react to changing business needs and effectively prioritize tasks
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in conjunction with team members and business units. Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• PeopleSoft GL and AP module experience. 
• 10+ years of expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies with end to end project life cycle experience using Agile methodologies
• Bachelors degree in technology or a closely related field, professional experience can be substituted in lieu of a formal degree. 
• Architecting, designing, developing, and delivering tasks
• Understanding of advanced design patterns, API-first design
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work as part of a cross-functional, global team.
• Fluent client communication, Issue management, deployment, and delivery support;
• Knowledge of cloud platforms i.e AWS
• Team coordination, analytical skill, self-learning, Communication, Technical documentation, system analysis

• Working experience on enterprise-level applications/products
• Insurance/financial services (Life and Annuity) industry knowledge
• Experience with Web-based software as a service (SaaS) application

The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 dependent on skills and location. The salary range is a good faith estimate based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.
