About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer I, you will play a vital role in developing new features & products and helping to maintain and update our enterprise products.  Working collaboratively with other talented engineers as an empathetic systems thinker you will continue to evolve our platform.

Our software stack leans heavily on C#, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, JSON, and HTML5/CSS, with MS SQL Server for data persistence.  Our SaaS platform is hosted in Azure

What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer I

  • Use our entire technology stack to implement improvements to our TalentLink product, including web and mobile UIs, webhooks and APIs, as well as expand capabilities in both web and mobile offerings
  • Contribute to and influence design and development decisions
  • Work in an agile (Kanban) environment, quickly and incrementally delivering value to our customers
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with product, design, and customers to solve real problems
  • Tighten feedback loops and minimize risk by using TDD/CI and other DevOps best practices
  • Use Jira, Slack, and Zoom, to communicate with your team and leadership

  • Specific experience with our tech: React, TypeScript, Mobile Development, Azure, MS SQL Server (Just using ORMs doesn't count)

  • Ability to design and implement the right technical solution for the right problem at the right time (i.e. you don't over-engineer, but you do thoroughly consider the constraints and total cost of operation)
  • Adoption of CI, DevOps principles and a focus on quality
  • Someone fun, interesting, and who likes to build and hack. Not just software!
  • Experience developing complex software for the web in multiple languages with multiple components/services
  • You’ve helped make your work environment fun, and it’s important to you
  • You’ve built great relationships with coworkers in the past, and want to keep doing it
  • You care similarly about building great software, and building great relationships with other people

Compensation:

The annual base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. The reasonably estimated total cash compensation (base + variable) range for this full-time position will be $129,000 - $152,000.

Actual compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. Crunchtime has a location-based compensation system, so someone doing the same job in a different city might have a different pay range.
