Senior Software Engineer - Generative AI

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s excited about breaking into the AI space — especially Generative AI — while working on real production systems at scale. If you're passionate about LLMs, writing solid Ruby code, and collaborating with a tight-knit team that ships, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities & Duties:  

• Building new features and improving existing ones, focused on Generative AI capabilities
• Working with other engineers, PMs, and designers to design scalable solutions
• Writing clean, efficient Ruby code (mostly Rails) with a focus on performance
• Staying on top of AI/ML trends (LLMs, prompt tuning, etc.) and sharing with the team
• Helping operate and maintain the systems we own (including on-call rotations)

Required Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong Ruby / Ruby on Rails skills
• Familiarity with LLMs (prompt engineering, model deployment, fine-tuning)
• Solid SQL and experience with relational DBs
• Comfortable with AWS or similar cloud setups
• Problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking
• Business-level English
• Good communicator and team collaborator
• Openness to feedback and continuous learning

Bonus Experience (not required, but great if you have):

• Python skills
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Frontend development experience with React and TypeScript
