Summary/Overview:

KBRA Holdings is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Stack Engineer to join the team that supports the KBRA.com website. You should be an engaged, motivated developer that will get involved immediately by solving problems and collaborating with the team to build out the platform.  This position can be based out of our Dresher, PA office or remote as listed in the states above.

About The Team

This team operates in a highly cooperative way, and there is an expectation to be involved in all aspects of design, delivery, and support of the systems. You would work with the whole team on adding features to the product continuously and iteratively. We also expect an eye for technical quality that continues to improve as the product matures.

This role will require an emphasis on working with our existing teams to learn our domain and its unique challenges, while providing value to the customer. It also requires partnering with other KBRA engineering and enablement teams (platform, security, UX, etc.) to develop, build, run, and support the system architecture.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Seven (7) or more years of experience architecting and developing complex, networked software applications, API’s, and user experiences
  • Display a strong track record of mentorship with engineers at various levels
  • Communicate technical ideas clearly, especially across teams and domains
  • Demonstrate a sense of ownership and craftsmanship regarding your work
  • Be mindful of application security and performance
  • Take pride in learning, and want opportunities to learn throughout your day-to-day
  • Possess a pragmatic mindset
  • Qualified candidates must have relevant experience with many of the following topics:
    • One or more modern programming languages (e.g., C# .NET, Node.js)
    • Core front-end web technologies and how modern frameworks employ them
    • Designing, architecting, building, and consuming API’s
    • Classical programming fundamentals and paradigms
    • Unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing
    • QA testing and peer reviewing code
    • Debugging, issue resolution, and troubleshooting
    • Automated, containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes in AWS
    • AWS networking and permissions
    • Infrastructure as Code
    • Relational databases, data modeling, and using ORM's/DAL's performantly
    • The nuances of developing API’s in different contexts: internal machine-machine, B2B, B2C, BFF (backend-for-frontend pattern to support client applications)
    • Good security practices (authentication, authorization, etc.)
  • Extraordinary candidates would also have experience with:
    • Possess a strong technical mindset and a proven leadership track record
    • Managing project requirements, timelines, and resources
    • Presenting progress reports and functional demos to business stakeholders
    • Identifying problems, and helping others to understand their true root causes
    • Coordinating communication and effort across teams toward improving output
    • Researching and discovering new technical paths for your team
    • Using your influence to affect positive change across the organization

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 to $175,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
