Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

The Opportunity 

Step into a key role as a Front End Software Engineer at Beyond Identity's new office in Warsaw, Poland. You’ll be instrumental in designing and optimizing our state-of-the-art Beyond Identity's platform. You will be working on cutting-edge industry challenges, collaborating with Product Management and Customers to deliver real value, and working on a team that will have a significant impact on our business.

It’s expected that the candidate will have deep domain knowledge to participate in product strategy, design, and implementation. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in our Warsaw office, fostering collaboration and team synergy under the leadership of the Engineering Manager based in Poland.

What You Can Expect to Do:

• Work with Product Design to improve user experience for key personas and ensure solutions address their unique needs.
• Collaborate with Product Design to translate Figma designs and prototypes into high-quality, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Work closely with product owners, UX, and engineering teams to scope and plan engineering efforts and dependencies.
• Analyze and refine requirements with UI/UX teams for common reusable components, patterns, and styles within the framework.
• Implement best practices in front-end architecture, including state management, component libraries, and code modularity.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Backend Engineering, and QA, to deliver features aligned with Beyond Identity’s goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities such as code reviews and retrospectives.
• Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing across the team.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to improving front-end workflows and tooling.

What We Hope You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of front-end software engineering experience building highly reliable, mission-critical web-based UI applications at scale.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and experience building React.js applications.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and modern UI/UX best practices.
• Proficiency in building and optimizing front-end components using Material-UI (MUI) and React.js, optimizing web applications for maximum speed and performance, and leveraging tools like Highcharts for advanced data visualizations.
• Experience with performance tuning and best practices for rendering, bundling, and asset delivery.
• Ability to work closely with designers and product managers to implement designs with pixel-perfect precision.
• Experience working with GraphQL and Apollo to efficiently fetch and manage data, ensuring seamless interaction between the front end and back-end services.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams.
• A passion for tackling complex problems and delivering elegant solutions.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js.
• Familiarity with Node.js and its role in back-end API communication.
• Understanding of secure development practices and experience in a security-focused environment.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud services.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, with a background in security software or threat detection.
• Good understanding of modern CI/CD tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with authentication protocols and standards (including OIDC, SAML, OAuth2.0, and others like SCIM, ADFS, WSFED, LDAP).
• Domain experience with SSO, IDaaS, DaaS, and IDP solutions.
