Accountabilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services using TypeScript and Node.js on AWS.
• Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of core modules.
• Build scalable, secure, and highly available services integrated with CRM, helpdesk, and e-commerce tools.
• Monitor live systems, optimize performance, and respond to critical incidents as part of an on-call rotation.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices across the team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of code quality, maintainability, and operational processes.
• Collaborate closely with product, platform, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Requirements

 • Minimum of 7 years of backend development experience, primarily with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong experience with AWS production environments and designing for scalability, security, and high availability.
• Deep understanding of clean code principles, test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with engineering tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines.
• Experience with performance optimization, live system monitoring, and operational excellence.

Desirable:
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Exposure to customer communications platforms or AI-driven automation tools.
