About the Role:

The Compass Search & Listings team is on the brink of doubling our data volume, processing and normalizing real estate listings from over 200 sources to power the entire Compass platform. We are seeking an innovative engineer to lead the charge in efficiently scaling our pipeline microservices to manage this substantial growth. We are seeking a Senior Engineer to be a multiplier for our team—a leader who blends deep technical expertise with a passion for mentorship. You will be the driving force behind our most complex projects, leveraging your experience with microservice architecture to design systems that are not only scalable and resilient but also set the standard for quality. Beyond writing code, you will guide your team, foster a collaborative environment, and shape the technical direction of Compass Engineering. Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $131,000-$197,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
