The role

As a Senior Software Engineer at ClickView, you’ll design, build, and maintain systems that deliver fast, reliable video experiences to millions of students and educators worldwide. You’ll work on both product and platform initiatives, solving complex technical challenges and ensuring our systems are scalable, maintainable, and high-performing.

You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering peers to turn requirements into robust solutions, mentor other engineers, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices. What You'll Do

  • Lead major product and platform initiatives from technical design through development, testing, deployment and ongoing improvement
  • Design and evolve scalable architectures that support a growing global user base and high-performance streaming experiences
  • Define and uphold engineering standards, ensuring code quality, reliability and security across the platform
  • Collaborate closely with product, design and engineering peers to translate complex requirements into user-centric solutions
  • Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance and contribute to design reviews
  • Continuously enhance the frontend experience, improving performance, accessibility and maintainability
  • Explore and evaluate new tools, frameworks and architectural approaches to drive innovation
  • Support production systems, ensuring reliability, observability and smooth CI/CD operations

What You’ll Bring

  • 5 years+ experience with React (and/or any other mainstream frontend framework) and Typescript
  • Strong frontend engineering skills with solid JS, HTML, CSS fundamentals
  • Experience designing and scaling large SPA architectures and contributing to frontend system design decisions
  • Solid understanding of web fundamentals, browser performance, and security (HTTP, REST, CORS, XSS, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, including experience with version control and team workflows
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and mentor others
  • A growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and professional development
