Senior Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform both new feature development and maintenance on all Civitas products
• Ability to perform both new feature development and maintenance on all Civitas ETL data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Work across multiple products and engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
• Perform ad hoc query analysis, optimization, and data investigation.
• Ability to work across multiple products and engineering teams to resolve customer issues
• Lead other talented engineers in software engineering design and best practices with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years of software engineering
• Expertise in Python
• Some experience working with ETL data pipelines
• Intermediate to advanced English fluency

Must have expertise in some of the following:

• SQL/SQL Query Tuning
• Java
• Pandas/EMR/Spark
• AWS
• RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.)
