Your Impact
You are going to play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Carbyne's complex and life-saving critical communication systems. You'll be responsible for ensuring seamless, super-reliable, and scalable communication solutions that support our rapid expansion.
What You’ll Do
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to take on the responsibility of end-to-end development for our innovative life-saving platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing Carbyne’s life-saving products. Your contributions will extend beyond coding, directly impacting the future of 911 emergency communications and enhancing public safety as we know it today.
Here’s what you’ll be working on:
- Develop an emergency 911 eco-system
- Design, develop and maintain highly resilient services with fault-tolerant and self-healing functionalities
- Build modern, complex Web Apps and UI components.
- Develop our solution across global regions to provide any person in the world the ability to contact emergency services as quickly and effectively as possible
- Enable Carbyne’s business growth by opening up the system to business partners
- Explore opportunities to apply AI technologies to 911 emergency communications
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Backend Development, with a focus on Microservices (Experience in Scala is a plus, but we welcome expertise in any backend technology).
- Experience with cloud-based development, especially AWS- Advantage.
- Experience in Frontend Development ( We use Angular but we welcome any other language)- Advantage.
- Skilled in creating RESTful APIs.
- Proactive /"Can-do" attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
