(Senior) Software Engineer - Business Applications

Efficient and seamlessly integrated processes are crucial for the global Brainlab organization. As a Business Application Developer, you design and implement sustainable technical solutions, enhance system integrations, and improve the daily workflows of our internal users.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand process requirements and translate them into scalable system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain custom solutions, including:
    • .NET backend components
    • SPFx applications for SharePoint Online
    • workflow automations and integrations between systems
  • Manage code and development workflows in GitHub or Azure DevOps
  • Provide user support and troubleshoot system or process issues.
  • Monitor applications, coordinate updates/releases, and resolve bugs or performance anomalies.
  • Maintain documentation for processes, architecture, and technical designs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying optimization and automation opportunities.
  • Education in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years professional experience in software development
  • Practical development experience with:
    • .NET / C#
    • JavaScript / TypeScript
    • SPFx
    • Python or similar scripting languages
    • Power Platform
  • Experience with GitHub or Azure DevOps (version control, CI/CD).
  • Understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience with NServiceBus or other messaging/service bus technologies.
  • Well‑organized with strong, structured, and logical problem‑solving skills
  • profound understanding of concepts and trends in computer software and technology
  • Motivation to build clean, sustainable solutions that improve internal processes and tools.
  • Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
