Who we seek:

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a "can do anything" spirit for our Engineering team in Chennai. Working on security & governance applications developing advanced security & governance oriented integrations and applications which brings precise and targeted value to our customers. As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for building new services and products from scratch and bringing innovation to the team's developments. Our ideal candidate is a team player who has strong hands-on full stack experience and is capable of claiming ownership of a feature, from one end to another.

What you’ll do:

Design, develop, and test high-quality code, ensuring comprehensive coverage with unit, integration, and End-to-End (E2E) tests.
Develop robust Backend SDKs and the company’s next-generation SaaS products.
Lead code reviews, enforce coding best practices, and maintain rigorous software development standards, especially concerning data handling.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues promptly to ensure maximum uptime and system reliability.
Drive and influence key technological and architectural decisions for the team.
Mentor and guide fellow team members through reviewing their design and code.
Own and complete tasks end-to-end, actively participating in the Agile Scrum process.

What you’ll bring:

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing Java Microservices.
Proven ability to manage and scale high-volume engineering solutions.
Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and experience working with external and in-house APIs and SDKs.
Experience leveraging AI Development Tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as a "Peer Programmer" to boost productivity.
Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Experience in automation testing.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, "can-do" mindset for working with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end quality.

Advantages:

Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with the AWS cloud platform.
Working knowledge of NoSQL databases and messaging systems (e.g., MongoDB, Elastic, Kafka, Redis).
Proven experience with the React.js framework.
