Senior Software Engineer – Applied AI for Corporate Systems

The Corporate Systems IT team sits at the intersection of technology and business operations. We own and evolve the internal tooling ecosystem that powers Finance, Legal and HR at Aircall. We partner closely with those teams to understand their workflows, remove friction, and build scalable solutions. This role is a unique opportunity to combine deep software engineering with applied AI to automate corporate workflows end-to-end, reporting directly to the IT Director.   We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong AI expertise to design, build, and operate autonomous agents and automation workflows for our Finance, Legal and HR departments.   You will be embedded in the Corporate Systems IT team and act as the bridge between business stakeholders and cutting-edge AI tooling, turning repetitive or complex internal workflows into intelligent, automated solutions.   Key Responsibilities : Qualifications :

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1 year working directly on AI/ML-powered applications.

• Fluency in AI tooling, in particular Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI APIs.

• Proficiency in languages: Javascript, Python

• Practical understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic architectures.

• Demonstrated experience integrating with ERP or HRIS platforms (e.g. NetSuite, Workday, SAP, BambooHR) or similar corporate SaaS tools.

• Solid understanding of Finance and/or HR processes: procurement-to-pay, order-to-cash, payroll cycles, employee lifecycle, compliance reporting.

• High degree of ownership and comfort in experimental, fast-moving environments.

• Ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translate them into production-ready AI solutions end-to-end.

• Fluent English
 

Would be a plus:

• Experience working in a Corporate IT, Business Systems, or IT Business Partner role.

• Exposure to internal audit, SOX compliance, or financial controls automation.

• Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex AI concepts to Finance and HR audiences.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
