Senior Software Engineer

The Role:

Following the acquisition of EverSQL, our team is focused on growth technologies—building AI-powered tools and database optimization capabilities. EverSQL by Aiven helps over 100,000 developers streamline development and reduce costs through automatic query tuning and index recommendations, with support for PostgreSQL®, MySQL®, and more.

We’re seeking an experienced engineer to help drive our AI and optimization initiatives, including our new AI App Builder. You’ll work on a cross-functional team, using Python for the backend, and React with TypeScript on the frontend.

What We're Looking For:

• Excellent development skills in Python, TypeScript, and React
• Good understanding of SQL and databases
• Ability to independently solve challenges, break tasks and push to desired outcome
• Ability to write good automated tests
• Experience using Linux in development
• Fluency in English, verbal and written
