Senior Developers and Technical Leads are expert practitioners who drive technical excellence, architect solutions, lead by example through code contributions, and guide teams toward successful delivery of complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex features and system integrations
- Lead technical decision-making for product or team
- Conduct thorough code reviews with mentorship focus
- Drive technical debt reduction and modernization initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues
- Collaborate with Product Owners on technical feasibility and estimation
- Mentor and develop Intermediate and Junior developers
- Establish coding standards and best practices
- Lead sprint planning and technical grooming sessions
- Evaluate and champion new technologies and tools
- Own critical system components and integrations
- Coordinate cross-team technical initiatives
- Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps improvements
- Use AI tools strategically for complex migrations and refactoring
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages (C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL)
- Deep experience with modern web frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js)
- Experience with VB 6
- Strong database design and optimization skills
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects
- Experience architecting scalable, maintainable systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to mentor and develop other developers
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with multiple products or domains within the organization
- Knowledge of both legacy (PowerBuilder, .NET Framework) and modern (.NET Core, Angular) stacks
- Experience leading technical migrations or modernization efforts
- Understanding of dealership operations and DMS systems
- DevOps expertise with CI/CD pipeline design
- Open source contributions or technical community involvement
- Experience with AI-assisted development at scale
